Union Screen Printing

Focus Ink can print your t-shirts through both traditional and digital processes.

Digital is appropriate for small quantities, full color, lots of detail and shading, light colored media, and multiple imprint sizes. There is a nominal set-up cost depending on what is required, an imprint charge based on size and density and the cost of the shirt (or other medium).
In digital printing, the ink is shot into the fabric so it penetrates into the fabric rather than resting on top, and then heat-set. This eco-friendly process is durable.

Traditional screen printing allows us to print on a large variety of media. As well as textiles such as t-shirts we can print on yard signs, acryllic plaques, circuit boards, and more. Printing costs include the following:

• Design
• Screen and set-up charges
• Swipe charges based on the number of colors
• Flash charges (extra heat-setting required for overlapping colors or double printing such as when printing white on black)
• Cost of the t-shirt (or other item). (We will allow you to provide your own garments if desired.)
  
  Screens for spot colors are $30. Unless you tell us you will be reprinting shortly, we do not keep screens, as they deteriorate and would require exorbitant storage space.  Half-tone screens are charged at $40.
